cher lloyd

Cher Lloyd is an English singer and rapper, not a recognized music genre. Emerging from The X Factor UK in 2010, she became known for energetic pop built from electropop, dance-pop, pop-rock, and hip-hop influences. Her music often combines catchy choruses and polished electronic production with rhythmic, rap-influenced verses and an assertive vocal delivery.

Unlike a broad genre such as pop or a traditional singer-songwriter style, Cher Lloyd’s identity is rooted in a highly commercial, personality-driven fusion of contemporary pop and rap. Songs such as “Swagger Jagger,” “With Ur Love,” and “Want U Back” illustrate her emphasis on bright hooks, youthful attitude, and crossover appeal. Derek Bell does not appear relevant to this classification.
